False information: If Fraudulent statements, fraudulent papers, or  false information were submitted made in either the current or previous application. Please be aware that whether this was made with the UK ETA applicant’s knowledge or not, it doesn’t matter if it was pertinent to the application. Additionally, in cases where important details were withheld the application will be refused.

Criminality grounds: where the UK ETA applicant has been convicted of a crime for which they were given a jail sentence of 12 months or longer or where the UK ETA applicant has been convicted of a criminal offence less than 12 months before they applied. Please note both convictions in the UK and in any other country outside UK are relevant.

Non-conducive grounds: In a situation where the UK ETA applicant’s presence in the UK is not conducive to the public because of their conduct, character, associations or other reasons (including convictions which do not fall within the criminality grounds).

Previous breach of immigration laws grounds: if the UK ETA applicant was older than 18 and engaged in immigration fraud, overstayed their leave, violated a leave condition (unless entry clearance or a subsequent grant of leave was granted with knowledge of the violation), or used false information in regard to an application for leave.

Does the UK ETA guarantee entry into the UK?
